Thanks everyone. I have to bind it yet. That is my least favorite part of the qilting process. I think I will use a red binding that matches the border. What do you think?

Your Sampler is beautiful, I love all the different blocks and your choice of colors. A also like your story about how you quilted it.

What a beautiful quilt. The memories it induces are worth more than words.
Remeber to put a label on the back with a brief description of its making, for the long term recipient to read. I make my labels of the computer and print them on fabric then stitch them to a back corner. In small font and using colour the label will not detract from the fabric. Remember to put washing instructions in the the label as well.
I love sampler quilts. So many varieties of blocks and so many colours and patterns available you couild almost spend a lifetime and not make the same quilt twice.

I really love the colors and blocks you chose. And the white really makes them pop! Beautiful!
