Can't wait to see the finished hat. That is a sweet and wonderful love story the two of them have. Brought tears to my eyes.

Oh, what a sad, but also sweet story. It brought tears to my eyes. I am sure she will love her new hats. (That poor woman and her dear husband!)

Thank You so very much for the link .A long time ago at a quilt show I saw caps made from faux fur. They were very stylish and padded nicely, lined in a soft silky fabric. The woman there told me that Cancer patients heads and skin may hurt while undergoing chemo, which is why she used the padding and lining. God Bless you.

I would love the pattern for this cap with the yo yo. I also have a friend that has cancer. She just lost her hair last week. She bought a wig but she says it hurts and itches. So I thought that this might be something that she would wear to Church. I love the colors that you did. Thx God Bless

Oh, what a sad story. That poor dear. Her husband is a wonderful man. My prayers are with both of them. You are kind to make the hats and I know they will bring her joy.

A group I belong to knits and crochets chemo caps for charity. If anyone is interested in doing that there are lots of patterns online. Just do a google search. I believe there are several to sew also. You just have to use soft yarn or fabric as the heads are sensative. And they should be washed in woolite and rinsed thoroughly as dyes will irritate the skin.
