Thanks, I think ;-)
Hope you don't hate me once you try this! No, not really, it was fun. But, a couple things I learned:
  1. Use starch
  2. When sewing strips together go in opposite directions with every strip, even tho her instructions say to always start at the "beveled" end. This, along with 1), helped me keep everything striaghter (didn't come out perfect, but was workable)
  3. Pay really close attention to the pictures. The text keeps saying "as shown in"... and you really need to pay attention to that, to end up with the pattern (or, go rogue, and see how it comes out?)

Good luck!

You chose a wonderful assortment of fabric! Love how it turned out! Great name!! As far as quilting why not follow the zig zag theme already in the pattern.

Good job. As busy as that is, I think I'd either ditch it or do an all over pattern.

Well (embarrassed snicker), if all my seams matched up, SITD would be the way to go. In other words, don't look too closely! I'm thinking about doing just some straight machine stitching, about 1/4 inch inside the zig-zag seam lines on the black and white part, and something similar, in green thread, on the green. Maybe a small wave in the yellow stripe (in yellow thread.) Just try to get some quilting in with colors that match the fabric.
