Default First time FMQ

I go to a quilting / embroidery group on Friday nights ... and I've been challenged to do something that is FMQ. For the record, I am really terrible at it - thus the challenge ... i don't know if it's because I'm impatient and want to sew really fast, or if it's because I have a hard remembering the pattern that I'm supposed to follow. (me and patterns / structure are really not a good mix!)

Anyway, here's my first attempt ... feel free to provide some critiques, I know I need them!

And to all the veterans of FMQ ... I give you full permission to crack up laughing ... we've all been at the beginning, y'all will have a great trip down memory lane with this!

(Yes, that's a parrot cage in my sewing room!) I share with my african grey, Echo ... she's such a joy to have in the sewing room LOL ... if there's any other parrot owners on here, you'll detect the humour in that statement. Let's just say she keeps it interesting! If I really need to concentrate, she's in her cage!

I think you did a super job! One of the things you want to do is keep the quilting at an even density thru the whole quilt and you really nailed it.

I say a big Congratulations for giving FMQ a Try!!! I have been working up the courage to try it myself, and I would be delighted if I could do as well as you did.
