thank you all for your support and incouragement, it's not my first time FMQ, just my first time practicing on sandwhiches that have no other purpose! and i'm much happier with these than I was with the purse I carry around with me! tons of imporovement since then!

You have inspired many of us to try to FMQ. I am a hand quilter, but I just do not have the time to hand quilt the quilts I have been given away and this would really help. You can see between the two quilts that you are mastering it - wonderful job. Keep up the good work and continue to show us your progress.

I am a handquilter also... I LOVE to handquilt, it's very relaxing....I DON'T like the look of machine quilting... especially my own machine quilting, but I think I just need to get used to it! lol.... I can tell that I am getting better, and I am starting to relax more... maybee it will grow on me? in the mene time, I have a handquilting job always on hand to calm me down when machine quilting gets me uptight!
