I have made several of these and always get great compliments on them. They are detailed, the instructions are great, but you really need to make sure you follow them exactly. It looks very professional when it is done. This blue batik one is really beautiful!

Thank you so much! Yes it is true that you have to pay close attention to the instructions as you go, but they are not hard if you do it step by step. I really had fun and it was not a disappointing finished project like some patterns are.

Your wallet is absolutely beautiful. I love your fabrics.
I, too, have made many of these wallets and the easiest way to do it, is to use quart size ziplock bags, mark them 1-9 and as you cut your pieces, put them in the appropriate bag. You will start sewing with bag 1 and continue in order. You can pre-iron your interfacing ahead of time, too. Lee Fletcher is the pattern maker and is a wonderful woman. She has her own website and you can leave questions for her there...www.pat-e-patterns.com
Best of luck with your future wallets. Please be sure to post pictures, too.

Nice choice of fabrics! I have made sooooooo many of these. Last Christmas I made 19 of them for gifts. Every one wants one. It is so much fun choosing the colors. Being left-handed, I made mine the opposite inside. I did the same for a left-handed friend and she said it was the first time she had a wallet that opened the correct way for her. Beleive me-----there will be no end. Every one you know will want one.
