Several NY forum quilters met yesterday in Waterloo! It was great fun--but more on that when the photos are posted. :-D I took some of these projects there for the "show and tell" part of our day... and I've posted some of the tops. But, I'm sticking to my rule: no more than five tops can be made without finishing...so here are the five quilted. The binding on the short bargellos isn't sewn on the back--but they go quickly and will be done today.

I decided on a floral log cabin to keep, but when taking photos, I've decided the bargello looks great on our table too, so I'll make another to match my kitchen!

Four of these projects will be for sale. I'm stock piling for a Nov craft show. It's not much of a pile yet because things keep selling! What a problem.

    One for sale

I never thought of using florals the way you do. Everything of yours that I have seen is so creative and beautiful. Wish you sold kits!

Karla I love your work and way with colors. I never bought floral fabric until you started posting your projects. I now am the proud owner of 6 different floral fabrics. (Just the fabrics--have no idea what to do with them yet!!)
Thanks for the inspiration. You do such beautiful pieces.

Aww--I like being like your heart!
No animals can sit on quilted projects here! The dogs aren't even allowed in the quilting studio! They shed! Plus, if I sell things, I think they need to be free of dog hair .

Beautiful work as always. Your pieces always bring some sunshine into the day even if it's dark and dreary outside!

I have to agree. I'd love to see kits of your floral combinations. On my own I could probably come up with a few that would go together but never in the world could I come up with enough to make anything that looks so perfect.

Your quilts are lovely. I also favor the bargello that you're going to keep. Great job. You should do well with the sales. You are always so productive, I imagine you will have more to add to the pile of goodies and pictures.

I think I need to work faster! My d-i-l would like a small bargello---and a friend has asked about them, so she may have to get one for her b-day... I'm off for the summer on June 25th...good thing--I have a lot to do! :D
