I needed a last-minute baby shower gift so I took a piece of flannel and backed it with a piece of fleece. I quilted along the pattern of the flannel and did the binding as I normally do. I'm not sure it can be considered a real quilt, but it was quick, easy and cute.

Wonderful. We have several gals in our quilt ministry that do this type of "blanket" for our baby needs. So soft and cuddly.

Beautiful, cuddly quilt! And yes, it is considered a real quilt. I think it's called a whole-cloth quilt?

Quilter68 your reply gave me a laugh. My husband's family is Scottish so maybe that's why I'm drawn to the argyle. I made a an argyle fleece Snuggie for one of my friends for Christmas. A new trend!

With my first child I was given a blanket like that with a matching crochet baby blanket. That blanket was his lovey until he was 3.

    Great job!
