This will be irresistible. One question: did you use the satin blanket binding for the ruffle? I just bound a doll quilt with it and nearly didn't survive it. But cutting satin strips would be just as slippery, I would think. Either way, bravo!

thanks... I bought satin yardage... and yes it is slippery. I have learned that some types of satin yardage I have purchased have been worse than others. I have had some that I could not even manage and ended up throwing it away!!

This I got from Amazon and was slippery but I could make it work

Thanks so much for sharing that. I will be checking this out, as I don't think the thing I just made will last very long. It even snags from straight pins just barely into it. Yours looks way, way better.
