Your florals are so pretty that I can hardly wait to see them in another quilt. I wonder if you could make some version of a watercolor quilt but instead of the very small 1" or 2" squares that are used to give the Monet type pastel washed watercolor palette, why not try to blend your florals using larger pieces? I'm envisioning essentially painting a landscape with perhaps random shapes selected entirely for their pattern content to create the landscape/picture you have in mind. Perhaps these appliqued onto a whole cloth (or almost, maybe a QAYG) flowers growing over a fence, spreading over rocks. growing across a path, then across the bottom of a bird bath, lots of dark shadows since the black in your trellis make the quilt pop so very much. Nothing real hard - really cut and paste then applique - just to feature your beautiful fabric. Pieces would be random like a crazy quilt except there would be no blocks,no sashing, etc. My idea is clear in my mind, hope it isn't too muddled on the screen. Just something to think about.

It is a beautiful quilt! Why not a floral log cabin ala the ones that barnbum has done- I think hers are beyond gorgeous!

How about an attic window? Would be a great way to showcase florals.
