Did you use any fusible for your applique? If so, what product, please. Love the pattern! Using up scraps is a bonus.

I used the last of a bolt of Aleens Fusible Web I bought 10 ears ago -- but Pellon Wonder Under Transfer Web works aboput the same. This is fine for wall hangings where you don't mind stiffness, but ther are all sorts of fusibles out there new that stay much softer when ironed on. I intend to try some of them.

I am working on a tutorial for strip quilting on a foundation. So, yesterday, I was sewing along and trying to make some sense out of all the loose scraps in my possession.
Sometimes, I would end up with a little bit of fabric ... I agree! Now, I know where to put them!
This is such a fun block that I can hardly wait to start incorporating them into my veterans' quilts.
