I love Crabapple trees, mine were beautiful this year.
I also plant Weigela for the hummingbirds and Buddleia
for the butterflies. (shrubs)
FYI- the flowers in the first photo are Phlox, low creeping spring flowering perennials. Lavender is an upright, summer flowering perennial with gray/green foliage. :D

Quilts are made by loving hands, and these beautiful plants are tended by loving hands.

I for one LOVE to see the yards and homes of other quilting board members, it makes me feel just a little bit closer to them. And I'd much rather spend my time oohing and ahhing over someone's gorgeous yards than reading depressing news on the internet.

Thanks to all of you who have shared these gorgeous pictures with us (especially those of us who live in South Texas and have never adapted to the plants and growing cycles down here).

Wow, such pretty flowers! Ours haven't come out yet and the trees are still getting their leaves - this spring has certainly been late in arriving!
