Thank you all for positive comments. I don't think I'd put it into a serious competition like VQF as there are a lot of flaws up close. My quilting is irregular and points are cut off on some of the triangle border bits. Billings is an exhibition open to residents of Windsor County VT, and though the jurors each choose a favorite, as does the curator, it's not for competition and prizes. I like that there are usually quilters at all levels represented, so I don't feel pressure for perfection. Next year I will put it into our guild show, Bennington Quiltfest, as I am doing with last year's Billings entry, Montana Flutter. I usually enter small quilts, so I decided to make a bed quilt this year. There are "viewers' choice" awards, and I admit that would be lovely to win. But there are usually a few extraordinarily good quilters represented, or those who use professional quilters. My avatar shows what happened when my friend and I spread it out on her grass for a shade picture. Her cat immediately jumped on it for inspection. So cute! LOL

I love it. Dragonflies are my favorite things. Look up the Legend of the Dragonfly online, you will love the story
