Gorgeous! I'd absolutely leave that pink right where it is - adds another element for motion and looks like it was your plan all along.

On the seams, if pressing them in one direction is working for you - go with it! The bargellos I did, I'd make 2 matching strip sets, and alternate the direction of how I pressed those seams ... and alternate picking a strip from one set then the other - this does give you opposing seams to nestle and match seamlines quite nicely.

I haven't tried it yet, but after doing the One-Block-Wonders with pressing seams open, my next Bargello will also have open seams.

You fly really well. I wouldn't change a thing. I really like how the light pink that you think is out of place looks. Looks great.

WOW!! Stunning!! :D:D:D
I see the one you mean... but IMHO I would leave it... the gradations are subtle in that color and that adds a great design element in the center area of the quilt! I thought you had planned it that way, until I read what you wrote :D:D:D

Keep going and send new pics along the way. I was always afraid to try that technique but boy you sure made it look terrific. Nice job!

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words and tips.. I can sure use them.

I'll work on it a little more when I get home from work tomorrow and post pics of the progress.

Thanks again for looking!
