Sounds like you had lots of fun. Maybe one day I will give it another try.
Need a brace for my thumb first.

Oh my gosh, her quilting is exquisite! That diligent practice really pays off.

Thanks for sharing your fun time with us...especially the photo of the one shoe quilter.

I see how she took the drawn shape as her outline and then filled in the details within the shapes.

Thanks for sharing the tip about practicing every time she sits down at her machine. I have 15 minutes. I will try it.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the class and the instructor. Her whole cloth work is beautiful and the aqua painted toes... LOL

Ladies and Gentlemen, speak of Laura at the local guild for a possible meeting/class/workshop. You will not be disappointed. She has won several awards from Keepsake Quilting not only for her FMQ but also her artistic designs atleast four times. (She was an art major in college and it shows in her work.) Go to her websight and see all the classes/workshops she has to offer. She is talented and funny as she teaches/illustrates not only for longarmers, but sit-down and domestic machines as well. I have taken several of her classes at our LQS and I can also call her a friend.
