Very cute. I did these ornaments to give for Christmas last year and boy are they putzy! I think there were about 75 pieces of fabric for each ornament so I can just imagine all the work in a pillow!

This is an older post, but I thought I'd add the keywords: Prairie Point Star, as it is known in the US, and Somerset Star, the UK term. This way people who are looking for examples can turn up this thread via the "search". I made this one in the 1970's. I have taken it out of the hoop with the intention of putting a border and binding on it. Then I have to wash it because it is very dusty. For some reason I never sewed down the points, so that will be the first step. I was clueless and didn't have instructions at the time I made it, so the points aren't lined up as well as they should be.
