I love to do reverse applique.Do you know of any designs that are in the 16 in range .I know Pacific Rim has large ones I would like to do something in blocks that I could put to gether.I have been using Teri Tope's book applique in reverse but it does not thrill me.

Cindy, it is gorgeous. Do you ever hand applique any more now that you are off the road. Love the pink

To answer a few questions...........The pattern is "Forever in our hearts" from Pacific Rim Quilt Co. in Snohomish, WA.
I did it needle turn applique, the way tradional Hawaiian quilts are done. Their patterns can be done in a number of ways, so you can choose how to applique them. To clarify about the Big Rig...I drove one for 20 years, feeding the country, I would work on quilts like this when I was being loaded or unloaded...not while driving down the road. Yes, I still do some hand applique now that I've retired.

Your quilt is beautiful. The choice of fabrics really make it stand out.
