Nope, not school colors....after all, two of the grads are homeschooled!
There was an overabundance of red and white fabrics, so that is what we made this year!

Our church is small, we had four grads this year. We average maybe 3-4 each year, although one year we had 11! There are three of us who are dedicated workers when pieced the quilts, and we often have a couple of extras who help with pinning and ironing.

To get more involved in the process--giving ownership to the whole church--we invited everyone to help tie the quilts! Sometimes it is discouraging, when only three or four show up; but in the last two years I sent out emails and then we get a dozen or more women come to help in the tying!

What a wonderful, thoughtful idea for your graduates. I'm sure they will treasure them as a momento of this major milestone.
