Thread: free motion scrappy quilt!

    ok here is my 1st free motion and 1st scrappy quilt! It's not perfect but I'm excited I can do free motion now :)

    It looks great. Done is best. We don't worry about perfect. People see things as a whole. And as a whole, this is a great look quilt

    Good job!!Your quilting looks very good for a first time! I still have my first one and it's not near that smooth! Lovely colors on your quilt.

    Oh, so pretty and what an accomplishment to be able to free motion quilt. I want to learn it so badly and it has not come out for me yet. I guess I just tried on too large a quilt...I will follow your lead and begin with a smaller piece. You did a wonderful job.

    I agree with Deb, who cares about perfect - the best you can do today is good enough. This is a lovely quilt.

    WOW! I did FMQ before I lost my amazing first DH but, he was my quilting cheerleader and I couldn't quilt after his death. I am back to piecing tops like mad and buying fabric (naturally) with my new/old sweetie pie DH but I haven't gotten my courage up enough to begin FMQ. You did such a good job, I am inspired to take the plunge again!
    How is your class going? I am thinking you are the star pupil!!
