I'd love to see it. Do you have a picture to share?

Your quilt is so sunny and cheerful. I so want to make one!!! I have the book but can't find it, since I worked in organizing my quilt room :?

The quilting is sweet too, and your floral back is perfect! LOVE it a lot :D

That is a beautiful quilt; and what a perfect name for a quilt with those fabrics! Great job.

The top went together really fast. I drew my own FMQ pattern of curliques, copied it onto Sulky Solvy with Crayola washable markers and pinned that to the quilt to stitch thru. I also used water soluble thread to baste it. I think I will use that more often, it worked great!

Originally, I was going to quilt this in sections, but I didn't end up doing that on this one. My original plan was the "low fat" method where you assemble the whole thing then trim off 1/3 of the batting cutting wavy lines. When I layed out the top, it was a little off I guess because of the bias. I thought I better not push it, so I just left it whole. I do plan to try it in the near future.

I'm fairly new to FMQ - lots of testing, but only got brave on the last couple of quilts. I am not good at staying on the lines, so the curliques are a good choice for that. No one would ever know I was way off. LOL I think you just need to be brave and just jump in and do it. I thought about it way too much until recently. My stitches are not consistent, but I like the overall look and had fun making it.

    Thanks for looking!
Katier825, that's one of the finest warm color works of art I've ever seen. I noticed your avatar, and looked this thread up to let you know how outstanding your colors are. You have a good eye, girl.
