Thank you for your kind comments. It was the first time I used strips and I was a bit nervous that I had started something too complex. But once I got the hang of what I was doing, and could form a picture in my mind of what I was trying to achieve, it went more smoothly.

Go ahead and use it on the table! You could cover it with clear plastic if you need to while eating, then take it off after the meal. Or Scotchgard?

Hi Quilting Cat and Ann Clare - thank you for your kind comments.

I think I will use it on the table at Christmas. I will just take a chance. There is always washing powder and a washing machine on Boxing Day!

Just made Pheasant casserole for my slow cooker (crockpot). My sister and family are coming for Sunday lunch and I thought a Game Pie was the thing for the cold weather. If it goes well, I might just cook it over Christmas...
