I think you have done a wonderful job on your first
quilt!!! The border you are showing will make the
quilt even more beautiful. The quilting can be done
by machine. I would do a stitch in the ditch on this.

I think your first quilt is stunning and agree with choice of border. As to quilting once finished I am in same dilema or wil be when creation is finished lol

You did a fantastic job. Remember ALL of us made a first quilt and some of us didn't want anyone else to see our first block or first quilt.
Thanks for sharing.

Great job! You can choose to hand or machine quilt. I learned by hand first, but each take a completely different skill set so I don't think it really matters which you try first. Lots of quilters only like one method or the other, while I enjoy both. Give it a try and see.

Jeannie you did a great job, a lot better than my 1st quilt! I also learned to quilt watching YouTube. As far as the quilting goes, I machine quilt just because it's faster. I can only grid quilt anyway and tie off. I tied off my 1st quilt. I would like to hand quilt but that just seems to take a long time (for me anyway). I am willing to do a single block 1st before attempting a whole quilt. But you should try whatever YOU feel comfortable doing, doesn't matter what we think. You made that beautiful quilt w/o our help, so......you can do it! Oh and Jeannie, get in on the block of the month swaps, they're good practice!
