My guy has been under my feet before the storm, and now that it's here, he isn't much better.. He had to go out, but wouldn't.. I had to pick him up.. Put him under a tree for him to lift his leg.. I couldn't keep him out long enough to have a bowel movement.. I might have to clean up a pile when he decides he can't hold it in anymore.. I still love him..

On stormy days my dog will try to get between my legs and the toilet bowl--I wish I could help her with her storm fears. Its the only thing she is afraid of.

Animals have a radar for knowing bad weather is coming. Snow or other storms included.

My dog usually sleeps everything off and doesn't have much reaction from the environment, but last night she was between myself and my daughter on the couch and actually whined! She jumped down and brought back a chew toy with her. She chewed for at least an hour.

Hope all is well with you all! The rain is mostly over here; it's still windy.

We're sitting here on the Gulf coast knowing how you all were feeling before the storm actually got to you.Where we are, there hasn't been much flooding, thank the Lord;but we've had enough of our share of the winds, some a lot more than what you had. It's the tornadoes that I'm most afraid of, because no one knows where they'll pop up.
I was up pretty much of the night glued to the TV hoping it wouldn't be too bad for everyone.

We usually bunker down in our home with other families here too. I think it's the company that makes us feel better. Now we have a generator that takes care of lights, etc. WE're fixed up for the "next time" so we can have air conditioning too. I don't mind having no AC, but it's the electricity for lights, etc. that means most to me. WE've done our share of candles and oil lamps. I hope we never have to use the new window units we purchased just for that purpose.

I hope all of you are safe and don't have too much damage. Am praying for those who lost their lives and for their families.
