A friend and I made cute window or night lamps. You can get the kits in craft stores. They come with a wire, and a thing to put a night light in and I can't remember what else. You can leave them natural or paint them. I put artificail berries aroiund the top by the night light. They are really cute.

Nice find. Lots of good
ideas on here. I have
some wooden thread spools.
My friend collects them
and I gave her some of
mine. She has paid up to
$1 each for them at garage
sales she said. Hugs, Sharon

I have made lamps from mine, use them to hold candles,

place little pumpkins and things on them, tie raffia on them
place them in baskets,I could go on. Just love spools of all
sizes.

I have a couple and plan on carving Santa faces into them and decorate at Christmas with them.
