    I have a 3 foot pair of sissors and a 12 inch tall thimble......
    i think those are spools for thread used in looms, not sure

    I've bought several of these spools in all sizes. I wraped yarn around them in different colors to match my sewing room and use them as decor.

    Me too. I have one that I've had for years that sits perched next to a 1934 brass World's Fair ash tray and a 18" round brass beer tray. I just like the simple lines of it. Thanks for sharing.

    First thing I thought of was candle pillars. What are YOU going to use them for?

    you could find a bigger one and make a large table and small stools for the tableto go out in your yard you can smooth it down and then paint it or draw pictures and staing them

    I would paint them with "coats and clark" or something si,ilar on the ends, the use macrame cord to simulate thread...then for an added touch, I'd make a needle out of cardboard and wrap it in tin foil, then stick it in 1 of the spools! Cool find!!
