A quilting teacher once said during a scrappy pineapple class, while one of the students was looking through scraps and throwing some pieces aside saying they were too ugly!! Teacher responded with ugly can be very good when making a scrapy quilt, put it in there and see what happens. I think, that was one of the prettiest quilts ever, and when I asked her later about the ugly pieces she commented that they had taken on a whole new look, and now she saw them as beautiful!!

I have 4 quarter panels done, but realized I counted wrong, so I have to find one more color to make wedges with, to complete the two full 48 inch 'plates' that I need for the quilt. Arrrrrrg! ( I am working with salt-dyed fabrics and am having trouble finding another color.)

Me too, if you don't mind...LOL
I first heard the MSIG term while garage sale hopping in Texas. They have a new term for every purpose. Gotta love those Texans!
