I added a 1.5 inch border in the light green--I love it. :D I think I'll find some veriegated thread and quilt it with big meanders--I wish I could swirl. I think it needs swirls. 8)

Batiks my favourite, love the colours together. Is there a link to the pattern please. Or shall I PM you my address, would look lovely on my wall !!!! :D

Where did you purchase the cream with green batik, just what I'm looking for to use on my Round Robin. Would appreciate it if you could let me know.

quilter1962--(if that's the year you were born--I'm 2 years older. :wink: ) the pattern is called The Garden Block and you can find it here: http://www.quilterscache.com/T/TheGardenBlock.html

I was looking for a pattern to use the batiks on--and thought it'd work with that one. Rather than use only 3 fabrics as the pattern called for, I scrapped up the rectangles. I didn't like how it looked with any 1 color--but liked when all 4 were used. I added a border in the light--I like it. My plan is to quilt it with a medium meander.

I think I got the light green from Keepsake Quilting--but I can't be sure. I know it was online somewhere...... I've had it awhile.

I want to try this pattern again with different fabrics.

I'd sure love to see what you come up with.
