    What struck me in seeing this beautiful quilt was while things seem empty, black and white and grey...there are blue skies ahead. She is lucky to have you for support while she finds her own identity without him...This loving gift holds the promise of those blue skies....

    That is so lovely! I've been "collecting" black and white fabrics for a while but haven't used them yet. This may be just the push I need! Love it.

    I also am making this now, but I am using yellow instead of blue. Happy pieces!
