    I don't see any problems, except with your photos. You plates look nice and even, your borders work well with the body.

    Congratulations! I think it is adorable! We were all beginners at one time too.... and are still learning. That is the beauty of it. We can learn from one another and be inspired to continue on with new experiences in our love of quilting.

    We LOVE pics and WIP's. I love Dresden plates, too. Great work and can't wait for you to share more. Don't be a stranger, this board is wonderful.

    My second quilt was a queen sized Dresden. I hand quilted inside every petal 1/4". I also quilted 1/4" around the outside of the plate. I had sashing between the plates so I didn't have as much open space as you do. It looks like you have a great start so keep going and don't second guess yourself and you will be alright. Love your colors.
