Default Ghana Fabric Finished Project - BIG Bucket Tote

A few months ago, I asked all of you for help with finding a block pattern to use for fabrics that my niece brought back from Ghana. After lots of thought and reading all of your excellent suggestions, I decided to make her a BIG Bucket Tote. The tote is something she could really use and I could use all the fabrics in one project! The tote is very bright and colorful and I think she will like it. I didn't want to use the Ghana fabric for the lining so I purchased some from Fabric Depot. Anyway, I'm giving the tote to my niece this weekend.

Thanks for looking and thanks again for all your wonderful support!

Beautiful tote. You picked an excellent fabric to line it with also. The lining fabric really goes with all the fabrics from Ghana. The fabrics from Ghana are awesome.

I recognize some of those prints from a African lapas quilt I did for a young teacher; they were spectacular like yours!
