Hey I am totally with your daughter! Quilting is way more fun than multiplication! LOL. But I do have to admit that my math skills have helped with quilting exponentially! LOL. She has done a gret job!

I think you have the makings of a future quilt designer. She has a great eye. Let her learn her math by using quilt blocks??? hey, it couldn't hurt. Math is usually easier if you can relate it to everyday things. I thought I would never learn fractions until my mom started teaching me to cook. you know 1/4 cup+ 2/3 cup makes? I could figure that out in a dash, but ask me what 1/4 +2/3 was and I was stuck. Your 7 year old did a great job. Keep her interest going.

Sounds like a girl with a bright future. Teach her how to figure fabric and area so she'll know why she wants to learn multiplication! She has great taste. I love the layout of this quilt.

Tell her that she did a great job with the design. Now get her a sewing machine. She has a great future and 7 is not too young to start.
