I was going to ask if I could make use of her talent and I would give her dinner. Very nice work but I am sure that to her it wasn't work but play. How proud you must be. BrendaK

I had the panel up on my design board and asked my two daughters what they thought. My youngest, age 7, grabbed the mini star blocks and arranged them, alternating on-point blocks with traditionally set blocks. Then, she suggested I use the darker gray (with flecks of purple) as sashing to make it different from the original Day & Night quilt that these cast offs came from. :0 I was floored. This coming from the girl who doesn't have the patience to sit still long enough to learn her multiplication table!
WOW one talented designer little girl she has a passion about color and design.Multiplications table is a have too not a want to.Any thing you have to to is not as much fun as wanting to

What a beautiful quilt! Love it.

You're going to add your daughters name to the quilt label, right? What a great way to reinforce what a great contribution she made --- and you might just have a little one who wants to learn how to quilt then!

You have a budding designer there! Terrific layout and beautiful quilt! So wonderful that you involve your girls! "If you Give a Moose a Muffin" is a continuing joke in our family, so I got quite a chuckle out of your title.
