Default Is this a good one for signing?

After making a patriotic quilt for Loise's 90th birthday, I decided to make a smaller one that all of his guest can sign so he can have it as a keepsake. Do you think this one will do?

Oh, his favorite color is yellow, and anything patriotic.

Yes, it would work for signing. They could either sign it in the yellow rectangles with a black marker or around the yellow border or both. It is a wonderful quilt & you done great making it.

I was asked about the blocks I used and since I don't know the name of it, this is the best way I know to show how it was done.
I saw a quilt similar to what I have online somewhere but could not find the name of the blocks or the quilt so I took a shot at drawing it up myself in the Quilt pro and the EQ7 programs and this what I came up with. I call it "Boxed In"

I love your quilt and that pattern, thanks so much for sharing. I have been looking for a project to sew on this Friday night at sewing group. I think I just found it.
