Absolutely, Tartan! I'll give up a sewing room for family anytime. Shoot, I'll sew on the bedroom floor if it means being with family!

Oh wow, I would really hate to leave that behind too. Good luck with your move!

It really is a great space for creativity. I loved having the windows with a great view, and the colors are so serene. I've saved those color swatches so I can paint the same colors in the new place!

I just moved to a smaller place. There are things I miss and also things I like better. Yes, Ikea is a great place to shop for storage ideas.

That's exactly what we're hoping to do - find a smaller place. It's just the two of us, and we don't need such a big place anymore. As long as we've got a room I can use for a sewing room, I'll be happy!!! I'm looking forward to checking out the Ikea hacks for my sewing room. I've already pinned a couple of cutting tables on Pinterest

I'm sad that you have to leave this great room behind...too bad you can't move just that room to your new home. But now you can decorate a room at your new house that makes this one pale in comparison. Good luck to you and your DH at your new place.

A beautiful room ... but I'm happy that you'll be with family again! Love the hearts and quilting! Thanks for sharing and the best to you & your family!
