if your'e a size 12, i know what you can do with it. LOL!

seriously, though, you can wash it to shrink it, put is aside and keep it for a mixed fabric quilt. i've used rayon. unwashed it shrinks, but after washing it holds up fine.

When I was a teen, my girlfriends Mother used to say "I have an hourglass figured, just that my sands have shifted." Now here I am stealing her line!

Size 12, that's like a sewing needle size or something---right????

Anyway, good for you on your fabric find. :-)

good question! Knew I was forgetting to check something before I bought it. I just looked, and the tag says 100% rayon dry-clean only... ughh!! I guess it's better I found out now rather than after making a quilt out of it, right? I'm fairly new to quilting and don't really know all that much about fabrics, does anyone know if I'd be able to do anything with rayon fabric?
You could always wash it, shrink it, and use it on a wall hanging...pillows...if you don't want to use it in a quilt. It is too pretty not to work it up into something :D :D :D

Pillow would be really cute out of that fabric. And rayon is so soft -- perfect!

Wash it a couple or 3 times. I've had rayon that keeps on shrinking. That may be why it wound up at Goodwill.

I love it when I hear of people making great purchases at the Goodwill or like stores. I'm never too lucky at finding things but I don't go very often and usually only go to find canning and jelly jars and happen to nose around the rest of the store. Lucky you! I'm sure whatever you make out of the dress fabric will be lovely. TAKE PICTURES, please.
