BEAUTIFUL. My paternal grandmother had one. I asked my dad for it years before he died but he said he would "leave it to me" in his "estate." He was a bit on the stingy side and the stinginess got worse the older he got. Sad. The treadle is now rottening in my grandmother's house along with all the other things in his "estate" because no one wants to go into the deteriorated house. My mother, on the other hand, told all of us to take what we wanted of hers while she was living so that she could see us enjoying it. So she got to eat off her mother's china at my house for years before she died. "I don't want you kids waiting around for me to die to get something," she said. She had a dry sense of humor and I miss her. Lesson learned.
Enjoy your machine. You've done a beautiful job on it and it's lovely.
