Im excited to start it. I will probably work on it tonight, at least cutting the strips etc. Piecing will have to do this weekend when im off work. I didnt have an iron so I ended up going to walmart and getting one. I also need to get a pen of somesort to mark things as I go but im not sure what to use. I will most likely go back to the shop I got the fabrics from and talk to the ladies there. They are down the hall from my work so every pay day l will be their frequent customer hehe. They were so very helpfull in helping me piece together fabrics that go well together. They offer classes for quilting too!

Please ask your LQS ladies what the manufacturer/collection is. I've been thinking about that gold leaf fabric ever since I first saw it in your pic. Can you say "obsessed"?? :shock:
