Thank you, toomanyufo's! I think the biggest challenge of this pattern is lining all of them up properly and trying to get the little points aligned and is easier than dealing with the bulk factor. Remove the papers first before joining to make it easier in handling the bulk, but it isn't too bad when the 4 blocks meet. There is also a trick in snipping the seam allowances where the 4 bl. meet so they interlock to reduce the bulk. Can't wait to see your mini and so glad you are giving it a try! This is one of my favorite patterns and makes a great mini!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments!

WOW - What great scrap busters! I love them all. I have a Grab-a-Scrap on my bucket list. Hopefully I'll be able to do it this fall. Thanks for sharing.

These look like they were lots of fun to make. They're great!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

    Thanks, everyone, soooo much!

TooManyUFO's: It just dawned on me that you were asking a question as to which blocks should be light, med. and dark on the pattern. You can refer to my mini or I will especially draw up a pattern for you with the blocks marked. Let me know ~~ I'll email you with the pattern marked. Thanks! So glad you are going to give it a try!

To make it easier, I just marked the pattern with spray paint so you'll know which pieces should be dark, medium and light colored ones.

    Here's the pattern:
