    Grand Illusion

I did Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt for the first time. Top is all pieced and ready for the machine quilter. I used Bonnie's suggested color choices so it is a little outside my comfort range. I am thinking of gifting it to my 18 year old DGD if she likes it.

I am not sure that I will live long enough to get mine done. Have all the broken dishes done for prt 1, 37 units done for part 2, and 11 completed units for part 3. UGH!
I consoled myself with the thought that well, this is my first Bonnie Hunter quilt, then you come along and say this is your first and you have the whole shebang completed. Thanks a bunch.
Sour grapes over, you did a great job on a difficult quilt, (MHO), and your fabrics are really perfect.

Stunning with all those little HST. Love the pastel look of the quilt.
