Thanks for sharing! These should be a reference for the artist from the UK who was trying to get her work Visa classified as art and not just a craft. Cannot remember her name "Kate" comes to mind. I stand corrected if need be.

These quilts are amazing! WOW- I wish I could have gone (will be going to the one in Des Moines in the fall). Absolutely beautiful work.

If anyone took a picture of a pink wall quilt with white snowflakes (Winter Wonderland) I am trying to get a photo for my scrapbook- it was my first quilt in a show. Seeing these quilts makes me wonder what it was doing there though... these are way out of my league.

Thanks for the photos! I'm glad I wasn't a judge trying figure out which one got awards. The quality of work is amazing...way beyond my ability.

I wish I could have gone but was too tired after working all week. Next year will retire so hope to see you all there. I'm about 2 1/2 hours north of GR.

A friend and I went. The quilts are not just beautiful they a works of art. We Saw a few friends, walked our feet off, and met lots of really nice people, from all over. Not just from Mi. It was the biggest quilt in the state of Mi. We had a grand time.
