I just wanted to share some pics of my granddaughter's, Maria, age 4, new finished project. This was a bag that she made for her mommy's birthday. Maria personalized the bag using my micro pens, "Mommy ... I (heart) U ... Maria ... 2010"
She is really getting into the 'sewing' thing now & enjoys looking at QB with me. Sitting in my chair beside me, looking & commenting on all the pretty quilts here that everyone posts. I hope you enjoy the pics & I am so 'proud' of her.

    Thanks Donna873
She is saving her money for stash. LOL I don't have much stash, but we will do it somehow. I don't think I am ready to take her to a fabric store just yet!

    Thanks mom-6
This is her 2nd project. To make sure she was interested in sewing, I first had her make a pincushion for me using felt. It was a pretty tough project, but she stuck to it. It is hard for me to sew felt...LOL mean granny huh!
I posted thread called 'new quilter in the family'

She is just darling. My DGD sews at a little table just like that. It's the perfect height for her. Tell her she did a great job.
