This is Olivia's first quilt. She is 6 and a half. She picked the fabrics from my stash and arranged them herself. Then she sat on my lap and guided the fabric through the machine while I worked the foot pedal. I had her help me tape the backing to the floor and showed her how to use the safety pins to baste it. We zigzagged "in the ditch" sort of because I knew it would be fast and she could do the guiding herself. She also helped me sew on the binding. Not very straight in the back, but, she is quite proud of herself and I am proud of her too.

Oh my goodness! That is precious!!! She did an excellent job too! Even the colors and placement are good. Care grandma...this is addicting. Opps! You know that! Can't think of a better addiction to share. Enjoy the quality time.
