I'm using the English paper piecing on one that I have started helps pass the time when setting in Doctors office when I have to take my husband or setting at home watching tv at night. You can buy the hexagons online and they are reusable. I have done several flowers and waiting to get enough done before I sew them together, will wait til I get ready to sandwich it before I remove the paper

The hexis I use of made of card stock...I have read where some are using the blow-ins that fall out of magazines too. I reuse them until they are too soft (I fold mine as I stitch hexis together as the piece gets larger). The web site is www.ciaspalette.com. I print several copies and MikeyB and I sit together and cut them out =D
This morning I finished sewing on the third border. I took a pic with the proud owner, but she was making the weirdest face...said it was too heavy LOL =D

THANKS FOR THE PHOTOS OF THE DETAILS! (Beautiful quilt!!!!)

Nice work and great patience. Tho it can be fun to sit and quietly stitch. Something we have forgotten with our superduper machines.
