Very nice job! How did you sew that together? The stitches look perfect. It looks like it would be verrrry time consuming.

Thank you for all the kind words for recovery :-). This quilt started as a scrap user to learn the technique & just kept growing. Yesterday I started the hexis for the first border frame...it consists of only 206 hexis :-)

wonderful work I am working on one and ran out of the background green. I have order 5 or 6 greens and cant match. it is about 9 yrs old. so have to stop where I am and figure what to do.

Gorgeous - I have one I've been working on for more than 10 years! I appreciate your dedication! Do you plan to hand quilt this? If so, may I make a little suggestion - to trim the seam allowances to a scant 1/4 inch so you have less to quilt through. Hope this is a help. :thumbup: :thumbup: :lol:

wow it is beautiful......working on one (great-grandmas flower garden) here in Burbank, California......flying to Illinois on friday will be in Lindenhurst for 10 days for grandsons Confirmation at St.Raphaels' ...... sooooo where are the quilt shops near Villa Park/Lindenhurst ???? last time i was there i went to a cute little one that had just changed owners and name.
