Grandma's Quilt-Top
#111
Please don't wait to long. My grandma quilted "crazy quilts" and had bags upon bags of cut squares and tops put together. She told me to make sure if anything happened to her to get them and finish them for her. She passed and no one cared enough about them to even hold on to them till I could let them know what grandma had said. The got rid of them all in the trash. My one aunt respected grandma and hurried her machine out into the car and brought it back to me. Grandma was from Spokane WA and I was in Illinois and preg. couldn't travel. Any how moral to the story, we always think we have time but no one ever knows who or what might get in the way of you completing it at a later date.

What a treasure! is absolutely correct. If you still have the slip of paper with your name, don't toss it if it's her handwriting. You may one day want to make a shadow box with something of hers and can add the paper to the box. I love to see the handwriting of those who have passed. It's something very unique to the person. I wish I had my name written in my grandmother's hand.
