What a beauty! GFG has been on my bucket list forever. Yours looks doable. Please tell me how big the hexies are, how many there are and the dimensions of your quilt. You have inspired me! Thanks for posting it.

Sure!! The quilt is 78" X 93". The hexies are point to point 2 3/8". It does look doable, I haven't mustered the courage to piece one yet but I want to. I have a UFO GFG that my aunt gave me that I hope to finish someday.

Well, I had it in my head that vintage was 40 yrs. old. I couldn't say where that number came from. Hard for me to wrap around my head that stuff from the eighties is now vintage. Thinking that's going to get worse. I do have some wedding gifts that are now vintage so it makes sense.
