    The hexs are not appliqued to anything ---- the whole quilt top is made up of hexagons (and some diamonds along the edges) - I know it is hard to tell because of the way I quilted it. Most GFG quilts are stitched in the ditch outling each hexagon and making them easier to see. I'm glad you like it!

    That's beautiful. I've never done English Paper Piecing, but just recently bought the hexagon templates and am collecting batiks until I have what I need. I look forward to having some hand sewing to do while vegging in front of the tv.

    Very pretty, love the colors! Love this layout too, I am not real big on the more traditional ones, so really like this one! I saved a pic to remind me of it! You did a great job!
