My DD &SIL would love this - they also are into black. There bedroom is black with silver and white accents. Good Job.
Was it hard to find all of the different fabrics?

You are so right! I have three sons, 1 daughter, five grandsons & 4 granddaughters. I swore that my boys when they were little would have a bath, go to bed and wake up the next morning dirty.

I picked up fabrics here and there whenever I went shopping - a few of the fabrics were bought while on a quilting retreat where I also started the quilt. I loved the sashing fabric but couldn't find it locally or where I had originally purchased it. I ended up locating it at a small fabric store in Kentucky that has a website. If you know the name of a fabric you can usually find it somewhere by using one of the on-line search engines. I buy the lion's share of my fabrics on-line. Tight budget.

I have to reread the rules on this site to see if I can give the location of where I've purchased something.

I made up the block, and it's so easy you could do it in your sleep. If you'd like the measurements, let me know.
