I think it is wonderful. and I dont think Sawyer is going to notice if it "pops", if its "too short" "too long"......I think Sawyer is just gonna love it.

Adding another row really did make a difference. I like it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice quilt! It is really super to see yours. I am making one very similar except my quilt has blue polka-dot fabric where you have green check.

Looks great no more boarders. I like it just the way it is. Great job!

Thanks everyone! This was my first DP9 and I am just amazed how easy it was!
I am getting ideas now for my oldest grandson's graduation in May. Whew! Got fabric that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow for that. Fishing, hunting, football, snakeskin (long story-snake bite), Tigers (his HS mascot), and other things he's experienced through his childhood years. He turns 18 this Friday and I can't believe it

I think it's great just like it is now with the last row at the bottom, but if you think you need another border, how about a very thin one in yellow, then a wider one in the green with corner blocks like before (if you have enough of the green) or a keyboard style from the "I Spy" fabrics?

I think it looks great but if you want something in the extra green border at the bottom, you could appliqué in his birth date? You could appliqué a few sport themed squares as if scattered along the extra green border too.
