    Default Grandsons mystery quilt gifted

My little guy helped by laying out the blocks for this mystery quilt. (Pattern by Georgia Goebel on a Facebook site)
He asked if this was “ for someone special”....so of course the quilt immediately became his! He is on the spectrum and loves puzzles, so this was a great project for him to work on. He also picked out some variegated thread for the quilting. Love this kiddo!

It has a fall vibe to it. My kind of colors. What a neat project for the 2 of you. He will always remember helping in such an important way. Trying to see the backing, but it looks like a kid friendly print. I really like this mystery pattern too.

Here is the backing fabric....he is an animal lover. The quilt top fabrics are actually Seasonal Gatherings and have tiny Christmas prints. They are leftover from the quilt I made his Momma a few years ago. I agree tho....it looks like Fall!

I love when grandkids want to help with your sewing projects..one of my granddaughters loved to sew with me and one of my grandsons loved to make potholders for his mom when he was over visiting.
Is there a link to this pattern? It is beautiful!!

The two of you made a fantastic team in making this beautiful quilt. I love those beautiful color in the quilt. Your sweet grandson looks very, very happy with his new quilt. The fond memories of making it together will be with the two of you forever.
